Ms. Kathy opened Guiding Hands in Sanger on December of 2014 & the Pottsboro location in 2023. Kathy's dream program is a place where all children feel loved and comfortable enough for their minds to grow to its full potential. Learning takes place only when safety and security are felt. Kathy understands that the brain must first learn how to deal with emotions as well as social situations before learning the alphabet. Once the child feels safe, the brain will flourish when taught academics.

Kathy is a member of the Association of Early Learning Leaders, National Association of the Education of Young Children, and Schools of Excellence. The entire team is learning and growing as they engage in a year long course called Conscious Discipline. We feel learning is just as important for the team as it is for the children.
