Ms. Kathy opened Guiding Hands Christian Academy in Sanger on December of 2014. Kathy's dream program is a place where all children feel loved and comfortable enough for their minds to grow to its full potential. Learning takes place only when safety and security are felt. Kathy understands that the brain must first learn how to deal with emotions as well as social situations before learning the alphabet. Once the child feels safe, the brain will flourish when taught academics.

Ms. Kathy is extremely involved in the Early Childhood Education industry. Kathy is a member of the Association of Early Learning Leaders, National Association of the Education of Young Children, and Schools of Excellence. Kathy also serves as an Ambassador for the Association of Early Learning Leaders and has since the year of 2020. Kath

The entire team is learning and growing as they engage in a year long course called The Conscious Classroom. We feel learning is just as important for the team as it is for the children.
